How To Make a French Waistcoat (La Veste)

pictures of La Veste from the Regiment de Saintonge. This vest is
ordered to be made in wool however, for the purposes of the Gatinois, we
are able to use a cotton based fabric available from JoAnn Fabrics
called "Drill 40." The pattern is copyrighted by Henry
Cooke and is available to Gatinois members via the Saintonge.
Please see Justin for arrangements for pattern loan and/or seamstresses
to make the coat. Also included below is an instructional on how
to make worsted button holes, should you decide to make this on your
own.
