Significant Past Events - Mouns Jones (Old Morlatten Village) 2005
|
Old Morlatten Village is nestled along the Schuylkill River in historic Bucks County. Our dear friends from the 24th Connecticut Militia Regiment have been working with this site to provide reenactor atmosphere for their annual craft fair. Just like Manahawkin is to our unit, so the Mouns Jones house is to the 24th. We were honored to have them invite us to join them at this event. Mother nature did her best to keep us nice and wet, with frequent raging downpours on Saturday and Sunday morning (all night long). Sunday finally turned dry, but the ground was pretty well waterlogged by that time. |
